I’ve been to lots of funerals after all I’m 70 myself, and the services that James provided to our family were wonderful. I already know that when my time comes that James will be where I go. If you are looking for the most compassionate, and easy to deal with funeral home, you won’t be disappointed! Sam and the staff will go to great lengths to accommodate your needs. I’ve meant to post this for months but hadn’t gotten around to it. I plan on going in and pre-planning so that I won’t forget and to help my family when time comes.

Our family chose James Funeral Home, Huntersville, to assist us when my cousin, Eddie Reynolds, passed away unexpectedly. Living three hundred miles away could have been problematic in making arrangements. From the first contact, through his Memorial Service twenty four days later, we were afforded the very personal care from a staff with unmatched integrity, compassion, patience and care. During that time I placed numerous telephone calls to them, with only one time leaving a message which was answered promptly. Each call was handled with the same care and patience as if I were their only client. Neither my cousin, Meredith Galvin nor I, felt rushed or pressured to make decisions which were handled with three way telephone conversations. They were able to offer suggestions on many details of which we needed to attend to outside the scope of the funeral home which saved us inconvenience as well as time. Any death in the family is always a very sad time, although a time we all are called on to face. It was eased greatly, by Sam James and his entire staff. I can not say enough about how wonderful Sam was during one of the most horrible experiences of my life. He was attentive to detail & well organized as I am part of an unusually large family…he graciously accepted all of us with a smile! He easily put everyone at ease & saw personally to our needs for Mother. Mother’s funeral was the weekend of Sam’s wedding & he still came by the viewing to make sure we were all graciously taken care of! To me that was above & beyond the call of duty… I very highly recommend his services & I am extremely grateful for his caring & compassionate attention to those who need his services.

When I found myself needing a funeral home, I wondered how to choose one. I asked a pastor from Kannapolis who was visiting us that day and he recommended James, saying he had officiated at a service there and was impressed by their comforting manner and desire to serve the family’s needs and wishes in the loveliest possible manner. For my husband\'s funeral and burial in WV in January 2010, Sam was extremely professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring in all aspects of his service. He made a very stressful time much easier. I highly recommend Sam\'s services for he will not leave a stone unturned.
