First let me start out by saying my condolences to Adams Family. I’m sure words can never express the pain you are all going through. Adam and I worked together at Summit Medical Group and because great friends that lasted long after working together. Adam would come to see my band and would come up on stage and sing with us. Just this past summer Adam surprised me and showed up at one of my shows. We had a great night reminiscing of the old days. He wanted so bad to have a reunion with everyone we worked with. But we never got a chance. I’m very saddened by Adams passing and will miss his surprise visits. They were always the best times at my show. Adam May you rest In peace my friend and maybe one day you will surprise me again in heaven.

Leslie and myself are deeply saddened by hearing this. I remember Adam looking for a job back in the day and somehow he ended up working for my wife, go figure. I got to know him enough that I thought he was a great kid and needed a chance to prove himself. Fortunately he did and I would always ask Jim how he was doing because I took a vested interest in his career.I know that the Summit Medical Group IT department is very upset to hear this. I know that they fully support the family at this time of grief. From what Leslie said, Adam spent a lot of time helping those locally which was important to him. It was obvious he gave back to the community and felt it was important. While we cannot feel the the pain of all of this, please realize we are sympathetic and offer anything we can help to ease the pain. Please let us know if we can help in any way.

Dear Friends and Family of Mr. Adam Helfer-

My time at IUP will always contain vibrant memories of Adam; how he was always in a pleasant mood and ready to have an enjoyable, relaxing and stimulating conversation. I won't ever forget his personal outlook and his belief that all things are possible. I wish I could have been more intuitive and reached out more often, nevertheless I fear that reality and destiny will generally overtake everything. Please accept my condolences, as I will never forget Mr. Adam Helfer. RIP GOOD SIR

Dear Cass and Jim.
Your loss is unimaginable and I truly grieve for you. Your beautiful son is no longer with you and your pain and grief is gut wrenching to fathom.
Adam was a precious gift and the love of your lives, of that there is no doubt . He adored you both and that was truly evident at your wonderful parties where Adam proudly displayed the hosting and “carving “ skills he learned from you .
I fondly remember him teaching me to “cut across the grain “
He was such a true friend to Owen and Katie when they moved to New Jersey and knew no one .
He embraced them with his warmth, humor and “Irish car bomb “ chugging competitions.
His beautiful, sensitive nature is a credit to you both for raising him to be a true champion.
Adam now knows true peace and I believe he looks forward to a reunion in a truer , kinder universe.
The struggle to move forward will be torturous because your grief is never ending.
I will hold you and Adam in my heart forever.

It’s very hard to bear the loss of someone so dear. And although there is little that one can say or do to take away all your pain, please know that your families are in the thoughts and prayers of many.
