Please celebrate the life of Donald Suplee (my dad).
People ask me to describe my dad and two words sum it up — “Silent Servant”. His whole life he has been serving others. In the military as a combat medic, as a handyman (the fixer), as an industrial arts teacher for 30 years, as a son and son-in-law, as a brother and brother-in-law, as a husband, as a father and father-in-law, as a co-worker, as a scout leader, as a baseball coach, as a school board president, as a STEM program coach, as a friend, and as a neighbor. I can go on and on… he touched so many lives over the years… he never missed an event in our lives… he was always there for everyone he connected with whenever they needed it, even if they did not know they needed it. But he never said a word about. He never complained. He never judged. He never put himself first. He just served.
Although it feels like a loss on earth, it is a gain in God’s Kingdom. I wonder if something was broken and God needed dad to come fix it.
We truly appreciate all the support from family and friends.
