Met Donnie and Bethanie through business but was drawn into a friendly relationship by Donnie’s note taking and tape measuring. Bethanie in the supportive position of “what are you doing? and how can I help?” I remember. R.I.P. kindred spirit.
Donnie was in my Geometry class at Harding with Ms. Watson as our teacher. He sat beside me. Ms. Watson was known to throw erasers at u if u did not know your theory ! Donnie and I never got eraser thrown at us. Prayers for family! I understand what u r going through I lost my husband this past year. May they rest in peace!
Only knowing Donnie a couple of years but feeling like I’d known him all my life. What a good neighbor, friend and helper. I had called on him a few times since moving to Nixon Heights for his expert opinion and help. Eventually it became that when I called him he would ask me, what have to broke now? He was an amazing guy and a giver beyond compare. My wife Jayne and I will miss him very much. Our prayers continue to be with the family. The last thing I can say to complement such a person is , he was a fighter that never gave up. May our good friend and neighbor rest in peace . We love you Donnie
Donnie was a very special individual and our friendship goes back to before my Navy days. We shared many memories together from skiing behind his Holleman-Moody boat, to riding motorcycles together.... the list would go on & on ... R.I.P. my friend & neighbor...
