My husband was diagnosed of Parkinsons disease 2 years ago, when he was 49. He had a stooped posture, tremors, right arm does not move and also a pulsating feeling in his body. I worked with Dr. Rashet in Pediatrics at St. Elizabeth for many years. He was a kind and caring Pediatrician! He was so nice to the nursing staff. We all had many good times together and he saved many lives. Deepest sympathy to the family on a great loss. I saw him at the art fair a couple of times and I am glad he was able to enjoy retirement for so long! I’ll never forget him “squeezing those cheeks” on the lil ones. They loved it!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dr Rashet was my first daughter's pediatrician and he was such a kind gentle man. I was so sad when he retired, Couldn't have wished for a better Dr for a nervous new mom, I have never met another Dr. with his level of compassion for his patients.

Dearest Nancy: was so sorry to hear of Manny's passing. I have such fond memory of the Thursday afternoon tennis game and the fin dinners where we gathered afterwards. I hold those memories close and it bring a smile. He was a beautiful person and he delighted one and all. I wish for you a time to grieve and when the time is right for you may your wonderful memories come forward and bring a smile.

What a blessing Dr. Rashet was to all the families he lovingly took such good care of all of those years. I was honored to know him and his family personally. Love and prayers to all of them especially to Nancy and to Kelly, Jim, Tommy and Will. I use to babysit for the Hickey family and Manny and Nancy were always so wonderful to me as well. This news makes me cry. Dr. Rashet cared for my 5 children with such care and passion and infinite patience! Once, when my toddler hid under the table, Dr. Rashet crawled under the table and held his hand out until my son took it. He was wonderful. I was lucky to talk to him when he was a guest artist at Art on the Square in Belleville. All of my memories of De. Rashet are wonderful.

Dr. Rashet was my pediatrician and he was so wonderful. He was kind and always mad my family feel at ease no matter the situation. I went to him until he had to kick me out because I was to old but I couldn’t imagine seeing another doctor. My condolences to the family.
