Leisa Marie Tucker, 56, of Charlotte died February 22, 2015. She was born on October 16, 1958 in Charlotte to Sue Broome and the late Carl Broome. She has worked for AT&T for almost 35 years. Survivors include her husband Michael Read Obituary
I hope that in due time you receive God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. A soothing scripture is Psalm 34:18 which reads: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.”
Leisa was such a wonderful, uplifting person. Our family has always loved her, and appreciated her love for the Lord. I know she is at Home now and rejoicing but our hearts will grieve and miss her. May the Lord Jesus give the entire family grace, peace, and comfort at this time. You all remain in our prayers and heart. Our family loves each of you.

I was a classmate of Lisa's for several years early in our lives. I remember her for being a compassionate and genuinely friendly soul. My sincere condolences to her entire family. May peace and comfort find you at this time of loss.

I only knew Mrs Leisa a short 6 years, but I am grateful to have known her. She was someone I could count on each day to share a laugh with at AT&T. Sometimes one smile can speak volumes into your life and she was one of those. May God heal your aching hearts during this time.
To Leisa's family: I was so saddened to hear of Leisa's home going to Heaven- none of us are ready to let go of someone like her. I was her bus driver while she attended school at Northside. She was also our one and only babysitter, she was part of our family. Leisa was a precious and kind person who truly loved the Lord. She had a wonderful sense of humor and never allowed the pressures of the world to distract her. I know she's in Heaven with our Lord and I'll see her again one day, what a blessing.

My prayers are with each of you in the passing of Leisa. Leisa was one of a kind. No matter how long it had been since I'd talked with her it seemed we could catch up in a few minutes. She was that kind of person. She was very dear to my heart even though I hadn't seen her in years. She never held a grudge and was always smiling. My heart is sad that she left this earth way too early but happy that she is celebrating in Heaven. My God lift each of you up in His loving comforting arms and surround you in His mercy.
