It is with a very sad heart to hear of Dick’s passing. Brother Jim and I have the fondest memories of growing up with the Kern family as a big part of our life.
Jim and Dick graduated in 1959 from, William Tennent H.S. They did Boy Scouts together and played sports until Jim had back problems. As families we vacationed to Vermont and Essex, MA. So many good memories! Our parents, Jim and Mae were Saturday night buddies at Dugan’s Hartsville Inn. Dick, Dave and Barb were like brothers and sister to us! Aunt Beck and Uncle Bud along with David I am sure are reunited with Dick in Heaven. We will see you all again someday! Love you all and prays for Sharon and the boys! Prayers for my little sister Barb you are special!
Sorry to hear of the loss of Dick, my heart goes out to all your family members. I am a cousin of dicks and recall the many times when we were kids, throwing the football and shooting hoops. He obviously lead a wonderful life and is a great example for the young folks who follow in his footsteps

I was a playing partner in golf with Dick for over 20 years. We were all dedicated especially Dick. One time we played in the sleet and snow. Those were the good times. Always a friend. David Kinne
Sorry for your loss, I knew him as a college classmate, enjoyed watching him play football and seeing him around campus. Condolence to the Kern Family for their loss.
