Still missin you bud… I know you’re well
I've been crying for days of Shawn's passing. Hes been my best friend for as long as i can remember. When i first saw Shawn in the hospital, it brang me to tears. Shawn was a person who you could trust with everything and he was the most trustful person you could ever meet. Thank you for letting me support Shawn and his family will be in my prayers ans so will his friends.
I was one of Shawn's classmates and he always caring and was so nice.
I am saddened to hear of Shawn ' s passing. I worked with him on several occasions as his teacher. He was always putting the needs of others first and I smiled when I read the quote about him asking for 5 pizzas and dozens of donuts. That's Shawn to a t, no doubt. Shawn's family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.
Please except our condolences. Our daughter Cameron Lasure was a classmate of Shawn. When Cameron reflected on Shawn at school she said exactly what his obituary said that he was a selfless young person and that he always put his family, friends and anyone he would meet needs first. Cameron said that Shawn was always happy and loved making people happy and included! Your son has left his mark on many of his friends, classmates and people which he encountered. He was a special and loved young man and we know that Jesus has a special job in heaven for him!
Cameron Lasure and family
To Shawn's Family: I don't pretend to have words to express loss you are feeling. When reading about Shawn, he must have been a very selfless young man. It sounds as though he knew the most important person he could ever know, his Lord Jesus Christ. Shawn must have been an awesome witness for his Lord and I'm sure what would make him most happy is knowing that his love for Christ was carried on by all whose lives he touched. We must live in FAITHFULNESS to God, knowing that by Shawn the significance of our lives will extend beyond our lifetime. Don't live off the past. We should keep our relationship with God new and fresh each day. After all isn't that what Shawn did everyday no matter how bad he felt. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!
