I am very sorry for your loss of Terry. He was a wonderful man. I met him in 1999 when he come to the animal hospital where I was working to pick up the animals that had passed away. I would help him take them to his truck. He was so kind and I loved to hear stories about his life. We would have a conversation forever if we could. He will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I just found out about his passing today. I always knew I could count on him for anything. I some to him not too long before he passed away. He told me at that time that he wasn't driving any longer. I will truly cherish all of the time we seen each other and his talks. He is with the good Lord and completely pain free. Until we met again!! Rest easy my friend. RIP!!!
My interactions with Mr. Davis took place when I had lost an animal companion that I dearly loved and when I needed to have cremations done. He was always most compassionate and kind and I never worried for a second that my pets remains would not be treated with the same respect and kindness that he demonstrated toward me each time I met with him. I was very sad to learn of his passing and send sympathy to his family, he was a fine man.
Dear Terry's family, I am very sorry for your loss and I am praying for all of you. I knew Terry from a distance. He was the one who buried at least 9 of our dog and cat pets in his pet cemetery over the years. He was always understanding and compassionate about our losses. May God have Mercy on his Soul.
Terry was a major part of the. Development of and running of our veterinary clinics for about 15 years. He will be fondly remembered for the bicycle rides we made in the mountains and for the hikes we made on the Appalachian trail.. Charles Francis DVM
Terry was a Father figure to me growing up. I spent a lot of time around Terry and his family in my younger days and we became very close. We all know that people have to eventually move on, but it is always tough when someone close, that has been a solid figure in your life is not there anymore. It’s like someone is letting the air out life. Terry is one of those to me, he will be missed, his presence in life will be missed. I know his family will miss him greatly. But I do know that his memory will be strong with everyone that knew him and this will keep him with us. Godspeed Silas Terry Davis.
Tim, So sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Praying that our Lord and Savior will be with you and your family.

Terry was always a wonderful friend to us. If he was asked to help do something for someone or his community you could count on him. We appreciate his service and years spent in the Gilead Fire Department in which he helped make it a better department and our community a better place to live.We will miss the talks we would have with him when we would be mowing the lawn for he and Carolyn. The lord has a great servant with him. Our prayers are with the family and we were blessed to have him as a friend.

It was the fall of 1955 and North Mecklenburg was playing Charlotte Harding at Charlotte Memorial Stadium. Cousin Terry was in the front line on the kick off, and I was back to receive the kick. I started what I had hoped to be my best return. I started on the 5 yard line, then to the 10, 20, 30 and on to the 40 yard line when I could see nothing but daylight between me and the goal, when out of the blue from the blind side wham! As I was coming to, cousin Terry was leaning over me and said, Jerry I am so sorry I missed my block!
