Courtney worked at MBK for nearly 20 years, starting in customer service, sales, supply chain and logistics and lastly in project management. She was a problem solver, dependable, efficient, loyal, and dedicated to MBK. Though she worked remotely for the past 8 years, we talked weekly about work issues and home life. It will be hard to fill her shoes at MBK and to find a trusted confidante.
Courtney was an exemplary employee at MBK but more importantly, she was my good friend who was always there for me. She watched our 3 children grow up, Laura & Jon graduate from college, and Jen marry and have children. Courtney was Laura’s role model and mentor, both at work, school, and home. She was Jon’s right hand in project management, always offering constructive feedback and a calming voice.
But we really bonded in 2016, the year that we both lost our loved ones, her brother and my daughter, Laura. Courtney was there for my family and we both felt comfortable sharing our grief throughout the years. Courtney became my confidant, She listened and understood the family dynamics both at home and the workplace. I often teased her that she was my adopted daughter.
As a colleague and friend, I will sorely miss Courtney. I will always cherish the time we had together.
I wish to share my deepest symphony to Courtney's family and co-workers at MBK,
Sincerely,
Susan L Sears,
Rogers Corporation.
