    Carolyn McLemore

    May 9, 1940 - February 13, 2021

    Carolyn McLemore, 80, of Charlotte, NC passed away on February 13, 2021 at Atrium Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born on May 9, 1940 in Charlotte, NC and was the daughter of Carroll Shields Clark and Mary Louise Propst Clark. She graduated from Central High School in Charlotte, NC, class of 1958; was employed for over 40 years at Barclays America; was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the Emmitt Wilson Sunday School Class, Circle 3 and treasurer of the Young at Heart Senior Citizen group; the many things she loved was dancing and music, collecting angel figurines, meeting weekly with the "Breakfast Club" with her husband and friends at Miki's Restaurant, attending her grandchildren's school and sports functions; she cherished spending time with her beloved husband, five grandchildren and her favorite dog Bonnie. She is best known for her blue eye shadow. Survivors include her husband, John McLemore; daughter Jennifer Pasour and husband Marty; sister Marilyn Quidley and husband Gene; two step-children, Bill McLemore and wife Jennifer, Tami McLemore and partner Preston Beckett; five grandchildren, Will McLemore, Taylor McLemore, Jason McLemore, Danielle Molinari and Kristin Bucklew. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19 at 2:00, at James Funeral Home Chapel in Huntersville with Rev. Jimmy Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery in Charlotte. NOTE TIME AND DAY CHANGE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER FROM THURSDAY TO FRIDAY The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at funeral home. Pallbearers for the funeral service will be Michael Thuemmel, Jason McLemore, Aaron Brown, Joe Brigman, Gary Brigman and Ed Sizer. The funeral service will be streamed live on James Funeral Home facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/JamesFuneralHome. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 6230 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216 James Funeral Home of Huntersville, NC is serving the family of Mrs. McLemore and online condolences can be made to jamesfuneralhomelkn.com.
