Craig Thomas Crawford, 52, of Huntersville, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022. “Always remember there is nothing worth sharing, like the love that let us share our name” – The Avett Brothers Craig was a native of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and moved to Huntersville, NC in 2001. He graduated from American Heritage High School, attended Florida State University, and graduated from Florida Atlantic University. But was a huge Miami Hurricanes fan, despite their rival with FSU. Craig was an avid music lover, concert go-er, and sports enthusiast. Craig never met a stranger and was quick to make friends. If Craig was around, you knew you were bound to have a good time. He and his wife Anne did just about everything together and it was not often you saw one without the other. He loved spending time with his two children, Tyler(Mara) and Lauren, as well as his mother Carolyn. Craig is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Crawford, as well as his grandparents. Craig is survived by his wife and best friend, Anne Crawford of Huntersville, his two children, Tyler Crawford(Mara) of Huntersville, NC, Lauren Crawford of Raleigh, NC, his mother Carolyn Crawford of Huntersville, NC, his in-laws K.L. and Elizabeth Smith, sisters-in-law, Amanda Logan(Allan), Amy Smith, and his niece Lila Logan, his sweet dog Carter Beauford Crawford, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
