Maurice Howard Eury, Sr. passed away peacefully August 20, 2018 after a courageous battle with illness. Maurice, or “Poppy” to his four beloved grandchildren, was born in Iredell County on October 24, 1942, to Pearl Eugene Eury a Read Obituary
We were so very sorry to hear of Mr. Eury’s passing. He was such a fine man. We enjoyed living beside you folks for a short while. I really appreciated the friendship you showed my grandparents for all those years. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.
I worked with Maurice Eury for 28 years and found him to be a very friendly man and a hard worker.When he went to the Finance dept.I didn't see him as much.After we retired and started going to the Dispatcher breakfasts twice a year he was a regular in attendance.The thing I noticed about Maurice was he was always concerned about helping other people that needed help.And he was the first one to contribute money to someone in need.i will personally miss Maurice but this world is a better place because he passed this way.May all his family and friends know how well he was thought of by those off us who worked with him.Prayers for all his family.
