Thomas Hayes Olson

Thomas Hayes Olson, 87, died 5th May 2022 at The Haven in Charlotte, NC of natural causes. Thomas is survived by his wife, Jane Olson; his children, Tennie H Olson; Alan T Olson; Jeffrey Lee (Alan’s partner); Kurt W Olson; his daughter in-law Jody R Olson; Theresa M Dunn; his grandchildren Ashley; Hannah; Stephanie; Claire; Christina and Thomas. He is predeceased by his sister, Karen Hedley; his father, Tennie H Olson; and his mother, Lola Y Olson and his daughter, Lola E Olson. Thomas retired from JA Jones Construction Company as VP of Data Processing in the mid 1990’s. He spent his retirement years with his wife, Jane, traveling, spending time at their beach home, reading, enjoying family gatherings and his grandchildren. Thomas enjoyed visiting patients at the hospitals with his dogs and also volunteered as a financial consultant for the Queen of Apostles Catholic church. Thomas requested to not have a formal funeral service. His son, Alan, will host a celebration of life at his home on May 14 in his honor.
