William James McQuaid Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. William (Bill)James McQuaid of Vero Beach, Florida Passed away Friday, May 20, 2022. Bill was born in Brooklyn, NYC and was a long time resident of Oradell, NJ. Bill built a successful business in New Jersey for many years. At retirement, he settled in Cornelius, North Carolina and Vero Beach, Florida. Bill was a committed Catholic who was often seen at daily Mass at Holy Cross in Vero Beach and St. Mark in Cornelius. Bill was also an avid golfer and enjoyed his friends and playing the game that he loved with his family, particularly his grandchildren. Above all, he loved his family and loved spending time with them. He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Marie and his brother Eugene and sister Eileen. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Elizabeth(Betsy) McQuaid their children, Kim Kirchgessner(Tony) of Southampton, NY, Billy McQuaid(Kathleen) of Roswell, Ga, and Carrie Dalton(Chris)of Cornelius, North Carolina. Grandchildren - Taylor, Madison,Kelsey, Bobby, Timmy, Michelle, Will, Jack and Cate and great grandchild-Manning. He is also survived by his brother John McQuaid of Cutchogue, NY. He also had many loving friends , cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held at St Marks at 11 AM on Monday, May 23rd.
