William "Buzzy" Stephens

William "Buzzy" Michael Stephens, 35, of Huntersville died July 21, 2020. He was born on May 31, 1985 in Charlotte to William "Buzz" Jennings Stephens and Teresa Lynn Stacey. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Glennis and Patricia Stephens and Ellis Stacey. In addition to his parents, survivors include his sons Aiden and Dax Stephens; siblings, Natalie Carraway, Phillip Espinoza, Trake and Marquise Honeycutt; and close cousins Lauren Hamor and Kelly Turner Curtis. Buzzy was one of a kind. His sense of humor and kind heart touched all that knew him. He was also a gifted electrician with a bright future. He loved his friends and family without fail. His favorite thing above all else was playing baseball with his son Aiden. The joy this brought him was as beautiful as it was obvious. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved music. Above all, Buzzy loved his two sons more than anything. He will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, July 26 at James Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-3 PM prior.
