My son, Zachary, and I had the pleasure of meeting Bob Knox last July when we were searching for an apartment in Mooresville so that he could begin school at NASCAR Tech in August. Bob reminded me so much of my father, who was in real estate also for 55 years here in Virginia. Bob was very kind, very relaxed about the completion of the paper work and was willing to give Zach a chance. I rested easier knowing that Bob was involved as Zach's first landlord. In fact, at the beginning of February, Bob checked on Zach for me as I could not reach him by phone. Bob really was an angel to me...I am four hours away but Bob was close by for Zach.
I just learned of the tragic death of Bob and his wife...so unexpected for all of his family, I am sure.
I also lost my oldest brother in October 1964 when at the age of 20, he was killed in North Carolina on a college trip, some four hours from our home here in Farmville, VA. Today, 50 years later, it affects my life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. I knew Bob was a Christian by his actions and they both appeared to be a wonderful, loving couple.God Bless you all.
Condolences to the families on their loss from horrible tragedy. Bobby and I were classmates at North Meck. Our sons were both bull riders, who competed together. Boyce, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you peace.
No words can say what I feel for you. But I ask God's Blessing on you and your family. May He wrap you in his arms and give you the comfort and peace of knowing that He Loves You and He is in Control and He Will Not Desert You. Your mom and dad were my sisters neighbor on Knoxwood when you were small children. They were very kind people and children friendly. So I know you were loved unconditionally by two wonderful people. Pass that Legacy on.
Jenni and Family, We are so sorry for the loss of Boyce's parents. Even though we did not know them personally, we pray for comfort for the entire family during this sad and tragic time. Judy, Rodney, Brian Sellers and Family
Our prayers and condolences to all the family on this great loss of two wonderful people. Have'nt seen them in years but my memories of them are precious and longstanding. I pray your memories keep them alive in your hearts. May God be your greatest source of comfort.
