Scott was an example to all of us in how to live a humble life yet make a tremendous impact on the world. He only wanted for his friends and family. He was such a blessing to so many people as evidenced by the tremendous showing of support and celebration by so many for his life. We will all miss you Scott, but we will never forget what you taught us by the way you lived your life. We love you and we will always love the Treon Family!!

To Lenae and the children: It's such a sorrowful loss from this portion of the Kingdom, but a shout for joy in the next as another brother comes home. I was privileged to work with Scott on the Greenway Commission of the Town of Huntersville, but also very blessed to have ridden on a couple of the bicycle trails in OH that evolved from Scott's planning talent -- and they will bear testimony for a long time to come of his passion for making the world a better place for people-powered recreation. I think I have known Scott my entire life. He was a neighbor and friend at Bethel. His kindness always accompanied him. I don't remember ever seeing him without a smile. I have followed his treon strong journey and been so inspired by his strength, courage and attitude. I plan to carry a "treon strong" attitude through my life's obstacles to honor Scott. My prayers are with the Treons and all that will deeply miss such a beautiful spirit.

The Treon family and mine have been friends since I was in elementary school in Huber heights. 40 years is a long time to know someone but somehow it just seems all too short now. Scott encouraged a generation with his meat presence it is obvious to anyone who knew him that he truly loved his family and would have given anything to stay with them. I hope that you all can carry with you that presence within your hearts knowing he will be with you there always! He will be greatly missed.

No words can express the sadness felt by so many at the passing of Scott. He was truly one of those special people in life that made this world brighter. Our community at the Bethel Beehive was lucky to have him growing up. Many of us were blessed to call him friend and neighbor. His laugh was irreplaceable. The sparkle in his eye when he was being mischievous... You could always tell. We'd play basketball in that old barn of his and have fun just hanging out in the yard. My favorite memory was riding around one day with him goofing off as a teen and he wanted to show me how he could " get some great air" driving over the railroad tracks. He sure did!!! What he didn't expect was a squirrel to come out running in the middle of the road as we were landing! (Anyone that knew Scott realizes he was a nature lover)...this was NOT a good thing! I just remember the eyes on that squirrel got as big as boulders and it was staring us down and we were staring it down and hollering as it was darting back and forth across the road like a mad ping pong ball. All I can say...it was a great day....squirrel made it, we were safe, and we laughed til we cried that day! One of my best memories I will always cherish of Scott. It was such a privilege to call him my neighbor and friend. To Judy (Mrs Treon) and Ted, Matt, Andy, Lenae, and Scotts 3 daughters- words will never be able to express just how special Scott was and how many lives he touched and made better just by knowing him. My deepest condolences to your entire family and to all of the communities Scott so deeply affected-he was truly a remarkable man and will be missed greatly by so many of us. I worked with Scott in Miamisburg, Ohio. He was such a pleasure to get to know and work with as a member of our parks and recreation team. He always had a smile on his face and a positive outlook. His energy and joy for life were contagious. My deepest sympathy to his family.
