I had the honor of knowing T.O. for 30 years. I was also a recipient of the "T.O. Davis Award" at Weapons School. These photos are from his last assignment before retirement, when he served as the Director of the Joint Interoperability Division at Ft.Bragg NC. We traveled the world spreading the gospel of interoperability to the war fighter. His leadership and guidance positioned the organization to be the premier training facility it is today. His personal approach; a cup of coffee in hand while standing in the doorway of my office, was typically a highlight of the day. When he delivered one of his famous leadership quotes, he would dip his head a bit as he leaned in and say "don't let the low threat become a high threat by perceiving it to be no threat", or something like that. Instant gold! Family was common ground that we always discussed. His love of family was evident, and the stories he would share were his most prized treasures. Suzanne, Caroline, and Jackson, our hearts go out to you and pray for eventual peace. Thank you for sharing Ted with us, he has always been a gift to those he was around. Much love, Brian and Felicia Bass
