Benjamin “Ben” Lawrence James, 35, of Huntersville went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2022. He was born on July 18, 1986 in Charlotte to Steve and Pam James. Ben graduated SouthLake Christian Academy in 2004 and then attended West Read Obituary
To the entire James family. We had the pleasure of getting to know Ben several years ago. He always had a smile on his face with a shining personality. He was the kind of guy people remembered, not just another face in the crowd.
We mourn his passing with you, and are holding you close in prayer. We pray you find peace and comfort in the days, weeks and months ahead, as you lean on each other and the love of God.

Some of my fondest memories from my high school years were spent with Ben. Whether it was playing sports, on youth group trips, or anywhere else, I always had a sense of joy being around him that you only have with someone who genuinely cares about you and enjoys you for who you are. I have missed him dearly since I’ve been in the service and am heartbroken to hear of his passing. My heart just shattered into a billion pieces. I find it extremely hard to even type this tribute. Ben has always been spoken of by me, as an angel on earth that I was privileged to spend a lot of lovely time talking with and chuckling. He had such the sweetest Godly spirit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My heart is sooo broken, I cannot even imagine him not with us.
The angels in heaven now has such a beautiful spirited person to praise God with them, rest on the clouds, fly, and fly really high until his hearts content!
