I started working for David 5 years ago, wished I met him a long time ago. Extremely intelligent, always had a solution to a problem, smart camshaft person, very knowledgeable, funny, great sence of humor, just an all around great person. I will miss him terribly. R.I.P. David, someday we will build motors together again.
My condolences to all the Vaseleniuck family. I will never forget the time I spent with you at Lake Norman
There aren't enough words to explain what a terrible loss this is. David was a wonderful friend for over 50 years. He loved and lived life to the fullest with a never ending desire to reach for the stars and accomplish the impossible. David was always ready to accept whatever challenge came his way no matter how difficult and always seemed to find a solution. He loved his wife Susan and his family dearly. I will truly miss the discussions we had over these many years.
RIP MY FRIEND.

Dear Susan, I am crushed hearing the news of David's passing. You both are two of the nicest, kindest and most caring people I have ever met. David lived his life selflessly with his infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor. He was always looking out for others. I will miss him so. My heart is broken. My deepest condolences to you. Love and hugs.
Susan & Family, Our hearts are steadfastly with you all and Susan ,
and are Thankful to The Lord for His Promise to David and to us All in 2 Corinthians 5:1. God Bless YOU Susan as David's most Precious Gift ! AMEN !
My prays are with you hope and pray you are a strong lady the angels will take care of him I worry about you love ya
The summer of 1969 was a memorable year for me. I was working long hours at David's Sunoco service station in Cottam, Ontario, Canada. David's 327 Chevy engine powered my '56 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery. Working with David, learning all I could about motor re-building made that summer slip by too fast, but my memories will always remain. It was always great to see David's face light up when a motor that he built was powered up and its character could be heard through the headers. After the late night successful firing up and a happy customer, a celebration at the Elm Inn in Woodslee would follow.
The racing community has lost a truly great engine builder and innovator.
I am so sad and sorry and I am sending all the family my prayers.
