That sweet little lady made her world a better place. She gave of herself over & beyond her whole life. What a huge blessing she was to me! She started coming over & visiting with my mother (Louise Akins) 4 years ago after my father's departure for heaven. She entertained my mother my mother for hours with her lively conversation & laughter while she crocheted items to give to others. When my kitty found her crocheting too enthralling to ignore, she'd laugh & let him pull out a few rows...everytime he wanted! Ms Mildred had a knack for making EVERYONE feel loved. What a privilege & honor it's been to spend time with this precious saint. I'll never forget you...

Mildred was such a sweet and caring lady that will be greatly missed. She has touched the lives of my family in one way or another. I will always cherish the cards with the personal notes that I received from her and how she was always so positive. She has left her family a great example of a Godly lady. No doubt, she is standing tall in the presence of our Lord.

Mildred was such a wonderful & caring woman that was loved by all at CMC-Mercy. She was dedicated to caring for the patients and their families, especially when she started working in the Surgical Family Waiting Room many years ago. Many of the staff & physicians definitely remember ordering & enjoying her delicious "homemade dinner rolls"!!

My condolences to the family and all of Mildred's friends. She was a special person that will be missed by all.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in the resurrection promise at John 5;28,29 that reads; "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all that are in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life.
