I miss her so much already. She was a great aunt and friend. I will really miss the trips to Mt. Airy we would take to visit Bonnie and Joann. She would show me places were she grew up. I loved to just listen to her tell some of the stories about the family. She will be greatly missed.
I Love You! Pansy

We will miss you Aunt Pansy... What a wonderful woman. I saw her out shopping not long ago and we stood and talked in the middle of the store for over an hour. She was so lively and vibrant. Her smile lit up the room. It was the longest time we were able to speak without having all of the children running around and we could really have a conversation. She gave me some wonderful words of wisdom and hope that day that I will never forget and at a time that I needed them the most in my life. I remember when I was a young girl going to stay at cousin Sheree's house for the night with all the "older" ladies and having the best time listening to them talk about good times and family. They made me laugh so much, I went back home with a belly ache! I wish that my children had the same opportunity. We live for the good times in life, we get by in the bad. But alone we will never be.
Blessings,

Pansy was the most wonderful, caring Aunt we could have asked for. She cared about each and every one of us, always seemed to remember our last conversations, kept up with the doings of her neices and nephews, great and great-great neices and nephews with great joy and hopefulness for success in whatever they did! There was never a phone conversation that we didn't have to charge the batteries afterward! What a mentor for life whether it was gardening, ways of the ol'timers, religion, politics - she had a perspective and a winning argument for all topics.
She was always on God's side, too, reminding us of His love through her own actions, her kindness and downhome good southern humor! What a treasure she has been to us. Even when our hearts were breaking from losing Don and Thomas so unexpectedly, she was there to comfort and console us, to herd us all back in the fold together, this great big Callahan family, and to love each other for whatever days we may have left.
Pansy inspired us all with her humor and fortitude, her love of life and love for the Lord, her deep appreciation of waking up at 5am and praising God for another day in the garden! There will never be another like her, she will be missed!

What a beautiful picture.
Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
What a wonderful, loving, and caring Aunt Pansy was.
A dear Aunt and friend to all of her nieces and nephews.
She will be with our mother Viola, and her sisters, Lillie, Annie & Hattie, having "pj" parties.
Gone, but never ever forgotten!
With our love,
