Aiden Daniel Humphries' Obituary
Aiden Daniel Humphries, 16, was born on December 26, 2006. Aiden unexpectedly passed away in a tragic car accident on the night of June 8, 2023. Aiden lived in Huntersville, North Carolina and was well known by many community members and families. Aiden attended Hopewell High School and Community School of Davidson.
Aiden was the most dedicated, diligent, and hardworking person that many knew. He owned a personal landscaping business, working in neighborhoods around Huntersville, while also holding a job at O'Reilly's in Cornelius and interning with a local HVAC company. However, Aiden’s persevering attitude was only a fraction of his impactful life. Aiden has been characterized for his generosity, empathy, compassion, and most memorably, his constant smile. If you knew Aiden, you laughed with Aiden, and were loved by Aiden.
Aiden’s love and passion lies with his friends, family, work, but most significantly, his truck. Aiden owned a red 2006 Dodge Ram, Ruby. Aiden aspired to own a truck for years and when he bought it, he gave his everything into making Ruby his own.
Aiden lived his life to the fullest, dedicating himself to making memories, loving his close ones, and always making people laugh. Aiden will be loved and missed by so many. Aiden’s life will be remembered and lived by his mom, Carrie Jenks, dad, Sean Jenks, Asher, Ava, Dama, and many other close friends and family. Aiden, we all love you so much. May you rest in peace.
Visitation is Thursday, June 15, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius, NC. A memorial service is not scheduled at this time.
The family requests for everyone to dress casual and more specifically in blue jeans, boots, and hats. Please no formal wear.
