Alan was a sweetheart he alway told me about Jesus and everything we talked for hours and it hurt me to see him go he was like a dad to me I could vent to him and he gave me advise
Alan was my stepdad and he was more like a dad to me more then my own, there where times we but heads but we always got past it, he use to always tell me he appreciated my positive thoughts and when I moved away he said him missed me being around as in 2020 he has my mom Rosalind reach out to me and ask me and my girl Ashley to come stay with them cause they could use my help, and in 2020 we relocated back to North Carolina and at that moment he asked me to promise him if anything happened to him he wanted me to look out for my mom and to be there if he couldn’t and I gave him my word I would as he thanked me, over the past two months Alan had fallen about 8-10 times and we helped him up and he thanked us and i told him it was ok cause he helped me over the years to become a stronger person and I was giving but to help him, Alan touched many people’s hearts and that will never go away, I remember talking with him many times and him being worried and me even though he had problems going on he still worried about me, one thing he did before he passed the day before he was rolling up his oxygen hose well he was wearing it and I asked what he was doing and he replied “ I gotta go “ I ask go where? He then replied “ I gotta go home “ and I said you are home and he look at me and didn’t say a word, I took that as he knew it was time to be with god and I thank him for all he did in life with us and will live in our hearts forever... We love you Alan John Gregory
The Baker family remembers bringing home the second set of twins while Alan drove the car and I held one baby in the backseat. Our children went to the same high school and watched them grow up together. Alan was very proud of his children’s accomplishments. Rest In Peace
My deepest condolences to Andrew and family. I have fond memories of Alan and riding in his two door white Saturn with Andrew. Driving around in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He was a very smart and kind man. May he rest in peace in heaven.
We got Alan to go to a local museum for kids when we came to visit in 2011.
Alan, you were a wonderful father and grandfather. We will love you forever.
