I became friends with Alex when I came to Detroit TRACON in 1999 as the Operations Manager. We both shared a love of flying, and I always appreciated Alex's vast knowledge base of information. We enjoyed sharing flying experience's and both discussed flying opportunities after retirement from the FAA.
Alex was always willing to assist his coworkers and was exceptional in training new employees. He was patient and always maintained a positive attitude.
RIP Alex!! You'll be missed.
Alex has been my friend for many years and I am sad to hear of his passing from this earth. Slowly the sadness fades and happy memories take their place. Although his journey has ended here on earth, Alex begins a whole new life in Heaven to enjoy forever.
Alex was always thinking of others. He was full of wit, wisdom and kindness. Our family will forever treasure the memories he made for us.
Al was a one of a kind guy! He always was ready to lend a hand and share a laugh. Terry and I have so many memories of time spent with him and his Long EZ. He was a great promoter of using technology and dragged Terry kicking and screaming into using a thing called “email.” I told Al I had love/hate feelings about that since once Terry fell in love with email, he was always in front of his computer doing them. Our lives are richer for having shared time with Al and our memories of him will keep him in our hearts forever.❤️
Alex was a pleasure to work with. He was always willing to help with any you needed. He was a great person and very kind. We will miss you bud!
