Alfred E. Johnson, 82, of Charlotte, died on February 11. He lived in the Oakdale Community. Alfred served in the US Army and later was self-employed as a barber and contractor. He is survived by his wife Bonnie; sons, David (Sus Read Obituary

You are in our prays and thoughts. Alfred is pain free now and his walk on this task on this earth fulfilled. God is so good and when we falter with out health, he holds us and comforts us and takes us home. Those here on earth however, will miss him greatly. But God will wrap you in His loving embrace and fill your hearts and minds with happy thoughts. God be with you and we are sorry for your loss.
Someday, not now, and perhaps not for a while-you will remember Alfred with less pain and more joy. But for now-just know God walks beside you every moment of every day to comfort you.
