Alice Clark's Obituary
Alice Smedley Clark, 78, of Charlotte died December 30, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 22, 1940 in Kimball, WV to the late Booker and Ruth Smedley. She worked as a supervisor at AT&T. She was a graduate of the 1958 Class of Kimball High School.
Survivors include her husband Charles Clark; son, Michael Powell and his wife Corrine Powell of Charlotte; daughters, Trichita Powell of Charlotte and Teresa Cowans and husband Wayne of Mt. Vernon, NY; grandchildren, Michael Powell, Jr. Tameka Dixon and husband, Charles, Wayne Cowans, Shawn Cowans, Kellyshia Warner, Charles Clark, Jr. and wife, Stephanie, Nicole Ward and Brenda Dexter; and great-grandchildren, Jalia Robinson, Damon Hawkins, Cali Cowans, Christian Cowans, Jordyn Thomas, Jalen Tillman,Tyrek Tillman, and Eva Faith Powell.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 6 at James Funeral Home from 1-2 PM. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 in the chapel of James Funeral Home. A reception will follow the funeral in the James Funeral Home Community Room.
