Alice Puckett's Obituary
Alice Jacobs Puckett, 78, Iron Station, NC died December 15, 2024. She was born on December 4, 1946 in Lumberton, NC to the late Cleo and Robie Mae Jacobs.
She enjoyed gardening, putting puzzles together, shopping, going to beach, being with family and spending time with her beloved dogs Max and Molly but most of all she loved her lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her husband Charles Puckett; Daughters, Lynn Chavis of Mooresville, Felisha Forrest (Billy Ray) of Concord and Kim Burrell (Ben) of Mooresville; sons, Danny Chavis (Eileen) of St. Paul's, John Puckett (Amanda) of Davidson, Randy Chavis of Chapel Hill; siblings, Steve, Faye, Mary, Patty and Annie; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday, December 18 at James Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2PM Thursday at James Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
