Allan Harry Marquart's Obituary
Allan Harry Marquart, 83, of Huntersville, NC died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Novant-Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
He was born on April 5, 1930 in Buffalo, NY and was the son of the late Frederick and Martha Koehler Marquart. He was an employee and Blast Furnace Superintendent of Republic Steel in Buffalo, NY for 32 years; a member of the Masons in Buffalo, NY and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mooresville, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois Pettitt Marquart of Huntersville; four sons, Keith Allan Marquart and wife Jackie of Minoa, NY, Scott Allan Marquart and wife Virginia of North Las Vegas, NV, David Allan Marquart and wife Julie of Akron, NY, and Bruce Allan Marquart and wife Stacy of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Buffalo, NY
