Allen McConnell's Obituary
Mr. Allen McConnell, 48, of Huntersville, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 with family and friends by his side.
Allen worked for McConnell Grading with 30 years of service. He enjoyed auto racing, especially drag racing, go cart racing and was excellent at building five horse power Briggs & Stratton engines. Allen was preceded in death by his grandparents; Wade and Louise Whitley, and Glenn and Francis McConnell, and two uncles, Bob McConnell and Bill McConnell.
Allen is survived by his mother, Linda Warren (Fred), father, James McConnell (Diane), daughters; Samantha McConnell, Allison McConnell, fiancé, Lisa Keziah, brothers; Jimmy McConnell (Lady), Jason McConnell (Connie) and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jack Homesley officiating.
