Alma Faye Brown's Obituary
Alma Faye Brown, 93 of Huntersville died November 7 at her home. She was born June 17, 1923 to the late William Taylor and Lucille McRae Stuckey in Lumber City, GA. She was a homemaker and attended Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius.
She is survived by four generations including daughters, Evelyn Ewing of Clover, SC, Jeannie Mullis of Stanley, NC, Mary Jane Byrum and husband Tommy of York, SC, Lucy Phillips and husband Gary of Denver, NC, Carolyn Lemmond and husband Gary of Indian Trail, NC; son, Jack Brown, Jr. and wife Sandy of Huntersville; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 7 great, great grandchildren and sister Jane Wyatt as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jack Brown, Sr., brothers, Bill, Johnny, James, Harry and grandson, Kevin Mullis.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 9 in the chapel of James Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West. The family will host a reception to receive friends from 9:30-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Rev. Jay Stuckey will officiate.
