Alvin George McCall's Obituary
Alvin George McCall, 87 of Huntersville died June 3, 2019 at Ranson Ridge. He was born on August 5, 1931 in McDowell County to the late Charles and Lela McCall. Alvin served in the US Army. He worked for Breyers Ice Cream in Charlotte.
His wife Sue Clontz McCall preceded him in death as well as his sister Alma.
Survivors include his sons Charles Richard McCall and wife Carol of Marion, NC and Robert Jeffrey McCall and wife Melanie of Huntersville; sister, Clara McCall; grandchildren, Sarah Baker, Teresa Green, Daryl McCall and Brian McCall and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lake Norman, 705 Griffith St. Suite 203 Davidson, NC 28036.
A graveside will be held at 11 am Friday, June 7 at Hopewell Presbyterian Church. Visitation will follow in the Family Life Center.
