Andrew "Drew" Kendrick's Obituary
Mr. Andrew “Drew” Kendrick, 39, of Denver, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
Drew was a graduate of West Mecklenburg, where he was known as class clown. He attended UNCC and graduated with a degree in Business Management and a minor in IT. He was a wonderful husband who married his sandbox sweetheart, the girl next door, Brooke. He was an awesome dad, who supported his kids in everything they did. Anytime he made a friend, you were a friend for life. He had a love for all genres of music from Rainbow Connection to Tupac to Barbara Streisand to Hank Williams, Jr. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed golf, soccer, Charlotte Hornets, Panthers, Atlanta Braves, and most of all, N.C. State Wolfpack. He absolutely had one of the best green thumbs for grass. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Kendrick.
Drew is survived by his wife of 12 years, Brooke Rece Kendrick, their children; Carson Steven Kendrick and Morgan Breanne Kendrick, mother, Sarah Kendrick, grandmother, Jeanne Kendrick, sisters; Stephanie Sudderth (Tim), Ashley Brown, father and mother-in-law; Charlie and Brenda Rece, brother-in-law, Jason Rece (Crista) and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church with funeral services starting at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
