Andrew Randazzo Sr.'s Obituary
Andrew Randazzo, age 89, of Huntersville, formerly of Howard Beach, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Huntersville, NC. Beloved husband of 66 years to Betty Randazzo, he was born on March 15,1931 in Brooklyn, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Santo and Ester Randazzo of Sicily; sister, Josephine Corso.
Andy was a native of New York and moved to North Carolina in 2013. He was a combat veteran, serving in the Korean war. He loved to spend time with friends and family, but most of all listening to music, playing his bass and singing. Andy was a talented singer, and spent over 50 years singing tunes with a big band, at weddings, bar mitzvahs, clubs and anywhere else they would let him. He loved to laugh, poke fun, and “break bananas”.
Andy is survived by his children Andrew and his wife Donna, of Cornelius, NC; Steven and his wife Frannie of Brookhaven, NY; Christopher and his wife Tracy of Cornelius, NC; his grandchildren, Noelle Randazzo, Mark Randazzo (Pris), Debbi Balach (Rich) and Michael Randazzo (Nicole); his great grandchildren Abigail and Judah, his loving nieces and nephews. All of these he loved very much.
