Andrew Scott Edwards, age 27, of Huntersville, died Thursday, June 21, 2018, at his home. He was born on September 13, 1990, in Mecklenburg County to the late Darrell and Delane Edwards. He is survived by his sister, Deanna Edwar Read Obituary

DeAnna, Anne & Raymond My heart feels so heavy with the pain of what you must face. He was a wonderful person and I knew him as a baby and watched him grow up. I know he hurt when he lost his Daddy (Darrell) and again with the loss of his Mother. He had endured so much pain at such a young age. You will be greatly missed and tears will flow for along time......
My nephew u were a awesome person. As I told u every time I saw u your smile and laugh was just like ur daddy's. I can't believe ur gone.. The rest of my families life will never be the same.

Drew - I know you dealt with some sad and really unfair events in your short life, with losing your dad so young and then your mom just 2 years ago (as well as other family members and special friends along the way), but you always had a smile and silly laugh to share with us through it all. I'm sure you were hurting deeply but you were so sweet, always looking to make others smile even through your own pain. The Greer and Edwards families have so many special memories of you, especially as a young boy - everyone knew what a kind soul you had from a very young age - and our coveted family beach trips (so much fun over the years). Your physical absence will leave the rest of us with a hole that can never be filled, just like your mom's has done, but I look forward to witnessing both of your spirits live on through your nephew. Love you cuz

I'm so very sorry to learn of your loss of your only brother, Drew! I am always deeply saddened when I see anyone that I have previously met, that has passed away, especially one so young who has only experienced a small taste of life, and who could have seen and done so much more!
