Angel Ortiz's Obituary
Angel Ortiz, 60, of Huntersville, died on October 2, 2021. He was born on January 1, 1961, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Angel and Aurea Ortiz.
Angel was a retired New York City Police Officer. Angel had a love for cars, he enjoyed attending car shows, he also enjoyed going to the shooting range. Angel was a dedicated family man and loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Angel was a great brother vising with his sisters and their family was a priority to him. He always made a great effort to reach out to various family members, keeping in touch with people and uniting them was one of his best traits. He was an amazing person he had a great heart. We are all broken-hearted, this is a terrible loss for everyone family and friends alike.
Angel is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ortiz, son Adam, daughter Angelica, stepson Angel, and granddaughter Emily.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 4:00 PM at James Funeral Home with the interment following at Northlake Memorial Gardens in Huntersville. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service from 3:00-4:00 PM.
