Angela Walker's Obituary
Angela Cook Walker, 88, of Charlotte died January 28, 2023. She was born on May 27, 1934 in Rowan County to the late Rufus John Cook and Mamie Morton Cook. She was pedeceased her son, DeWayne Alan Walker and her husband, James Paul Walker.
Angela loved gardening, was a true prankster, and was awarded 3rd Place in the State, UNCC Creative Recyclable Contribution. She had an enormous imagination!
Survivors include her son, Dean Walker and wife Diane and daughter Paula of Mt. Holly; grandson Justin, and wife, Laurie, great-grandchildren, Jay, Case, Aidan, Ashton and Kenan; grandson Jamie, and wife, Danielle, great-granddaughters, Monroe and Miller; granddaughter, Jessica Walker Isenhour and great-granddaughters, Adalynn and Ally; daughter, Paula Walker, and grandsons, Tristen T. Trull and J. Walker Trull and s/o Sarah Feaster, and great-gandson, Ranger Dean Walker.
Memorials may be made to: Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, Charlotte.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m.at Pleasant Grove Cementary, 7315 Pleasant Grove Road, Charlotte, NC.
