Angie Key's Obituary
Angie Mullis Key, 83, of Charlotte died June 30, 2022 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 23, 1938 in Mecklenburg County to the late Sam Mack Mullis and Annie Bell Mullis.
She is reunited with her husband, Wayne, and we are positive he was leading the procession to welcome her to heaven. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Wayne Key, grandkids, Jeffrey Hamilton and Jake Key, and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children, Joseph Key, Annie Bell Key, James Key, Clifford Key (Renee) and Ronda Key Dobbins (Travis), grandchildren, Shelley Hamilton, Jimmy Key, Justin Key, Jordan Key, Josh Key, Samantha Barnette, Skyler Sifford, 14 great-grandchildren, and sister, Linda Keeter.
She owned and operated Key’s Trailer Park for 66 years. She was known as Ms. Angie and was loved by so many.
She was a member of Independence Hill Baptist Church for 60+ years where she taught Sunday school, was a member of the choir and cooked many great southern meals for Wednesday night suppers with many of her friends.
A private family graveside will be held at Independence Hill Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to Independence Hill Baptist Church or Community Home Care & Hospice.
