Ann Miller Eytcheson's Obituary
Ann Miller Eytcheson (nee Watson), born July 23, 1941, in Uniontown, PA
lost her battle with Lewey Body Dementia on September 7, 2024, in
Huntersville, NC at the age of 83. She passed peacefully surrounded by
loved ones by her side and even in her final moments she embodied grace,
dignity, unwavering will, and the deep love for family for which she was
known.
Ann was a devoted mother to Mark (55) and Teri Robinson (51) and
beloved grandmother to her four grandchildren – Jared Eytcheson (25),
Danielle Eytcheson (23), Teagan Ann Robinson (17) and Brinley Robinson
(15) who were her pride and joy.
Growing up in Smithfield, PA to William and Jean Watson, she moved to
Philadelphia soon after high school to begin her career in banking. After a
few years, Ann moved to California where she worked for the former
Crocker Bank. There she married and devoted herself to raising her active
children passionately supporting every sport or extra-curricular activity they
pursued. She was president of the PTA, Girl Scout leader, and always the
team mom. Ann also worked at Wells Fargo Bank while raising her
children and providing a loving home. Her influence extended far beyond
her own children as her heart and patience allowed her to care for many
other neighborhood children who still affectionately call her Mommy Ann to
this day. Ann moved back to her home state of Pennsylvania in 1985
where she then worked for PNC Bank and retired from The Hershey Trust
Company (now Bryn Mawr Trust) as an operations assistant in 2011.
Fulfilling the role she cherished most, Grannie moved to North Carolina to
be close to all her beloved grandchildren where she never missed any
opportunity to witness their smiles and the big moments in their lives.
Ann was preceded in death by her father (William), mother (Jean),
stepfather (Arthur Williams), brother (Bill), and many cherished aunts and
uncles. She will leave a void to her sisters (Nancy Meyers and Beth
Taarka) as well as many nieces and nephews and friends, but especially to
her children and grandchildren who will carry on the compassion and
kindness that defined her.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Lewey Body Dementia
