My fondest memory is bringing communion to Anna and Bill - when I would start the communion prayers the parakeet they had at that time would also bow his head and start murmuring. It was so sweet!

Wir erinnern uns an Tante Anneliese als eine unternehmungslustige, fröhliche und mutige Frau, die selbst mit über 80 Jahren noch auf Deutschlands Straßen herum gefahren ist, um Verwandte und Freunde zu besuchen.

We were shocked to receive the news of Anneliese's passing. We hadn't expected it. We were already looking forward to seeing her again. When time is up and our loved one leaves us, the sun loses its warming glow, and we mourn in the darkness of these lightless days. And traces of her life, thoughts, images, and moments, are always there. They will remind us of Anneliese, of the time we spent together, and we will never forget her. It is very difficult to find comforting words when a loved one, who accompanied us for part of our journey, says goodbye forever. What remains is love, memories, and gratitude for the lovely Anneliese. Anneliese will live on in our memories. Our condolences also go out to Jim and family, Alexander and family, and Kim. Stephanie and Katharina and family.

Anna’s strength and compassion was an inspiration. I remember her fondly and am happy to have one of her paintings which I will cherish even more.
I loved Anna who loved the Lord and our church. She was active with the women’s group of the church and participated in the Women’s retreats. She collected many years worth of retreat t-shirts and exhibited them. She was a dedicated and loving caregiver to her husband and a friend to all. She is truly missed.
