Anna Stojek's Obituary
Mrs. Anna Stojek, 98, of Concord, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2025.
Anna was born in Thompson, Pennsylvania and grew up on a dairy farm. After she finished school she moved to Johnson City, NY where she met her husband, Julian. In 1979 they decided to transfer to North Carolina with IBM. Once retired they moved to Myrtle Beach where they enjoyed golfing and square dancing together.
She was a member of Saint Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville, NC. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, cake decorating, oil painting, crafts and most of all spending time with her family and Great grandchildren Gavin and Logan.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Elizabeth Krall, her husband Julian Stojek, son Thomas Stojek, Grandson Andrew Stojek, Daughter in law Bonnie Stojek, and brothers and sisters John Krall, Joseph Krall, Mary Urda, and Irene Ciza.
Anna is survived by her daughter Karen (Stojek) Dobrzynski and husband Donald Dobrzynski, son Robert Stojek, Granddaughter Lauren (Dobrzynski) Fuller and husband Josh Fuller. Great Grandchildren Gavin Fuller and Logan Fuller. Also, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Saint Mark Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at NorthLake Memorial Gardens and a luncheon at the Speedway Club at 5555 Concord Pkwy S, 6th floor, Concord, NC.
