Today's gonna be tough to get through. Got the news this morning that my dear friend and foxhole buddy at Meck 2 the one I nicknamed HennyPenny many years ago, passed away on Thursday. Knew she was having complications and faced more surgery but still it came as a shock. So many memories and so much trust in and love for one another passing through my mind and heavy on my heart this Sunday. Being so far away is both curse and blessing, spared the minute by minute worry and concern and blessed to have my reflections and time to wrap my head and heart around the loss of my BPBE, best prison buddy ever. 💔😢🌹🕊️
