Annie G.'s Obituary
Mrs. Ann G. Lee, 94, of Huntersville, NC, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018.
Ann was a native of Pennsylvania and moved to Southern California in the 1960s. There, she and her husband Bob raised their two children Linda and Bobby. After Retirement she and Bob moved to North Carolina to be near their children and grandchildren. As a young woman Ann worked at the Five and Dime and at General Electric. She spoke often of the work she did while the war was going on and how she couldn’t get a job when the men came home. Ann was a homemaker until they moved to California where she worked for Mattel, Smith Pacific Book Bindery and her most favorite job at Northrup Grumman. After retirement Ann provided loving care for their two granddaughters until they started to school. Ann came out of retirement and worked for the Comfort Suites at Lake Norman until she was 82. Ann’s impeccable work ethic has been an inspiration to her children and grandchildren.
