Annie Ruth Little's Obituary
Annie Ruth Fish Little, 90, of Cornelius, went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2024. She was born in Mecklenburg County on September 5, 1934 to the late Henry and Bessie Fish.
Annie Ruth was a loving and caring wife and mother. She loved her church, Grace Covenant and was active there for many years. She spent 42 years working for the school system in the cafeterias at North Mecklenburg and Hough High School.
Survivors include her son, David Little and wife Shelley of Davidson; daughters, Kathy Burch of Cornelius and Vickie McGinnis and husband Ronny of Cornelius; 5 grandchildren, Matt, Mark, Pat, Brittany and Logan; and 4 great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, William and Owen (and one on way).
Her husband Harold preceded her in death on June 29, 2011. She is also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Mickey and siblings, Russell, Floyd, Claude, John, Mary Lee, Edna Mae and Pearl.
Memorials may be made to Grace Covenant Church or the Levine & Dickson Hospice House.
The funeral service will be held at 2PM Thursday, December 5 at Grace Covenant Church with visitation 1-2 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at. Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
