Anthony Lombardi's Obituary
Anthony Lombardi, 80, passed away February 14, 2022, at home in Davidson, North Carolina, surrounded by his family. He was born May 23, 1941, in Hoboken, NJ, the son of Nicholas and Mary (Nasto) Lombardi.
Anthony proudly served with the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963 most of which was spent stationed overseas in Germany. Upon completion of his duty, Anthony worked as a machinist for Rebuth Steel for thirty years.
Anthony was a loving and devoted husband to Beverly (Hope) Lombardi for fifty-five years. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Jennifer (Lombardi) Acacia (husband Joseph) and beloved son, Anthony Lombardi (wife Stephanie). He will be missed by his treasured grandchildren: Casey, Austin, Grace, Gabriella, Tyler and Juhlia, and great-grandchildren: Stella and Sebastian.
Anthony was an avid runner and completed multiple marathons. He was loving, selfless and giving in every facet of his life. He always put others before himself and led by example. His warm smile, blue eyes and kind spirit will always be remembered. He was the best and will forever be in our hearts.
A service of remembrance will be held Friday, May 20, promptly at 1:00pm, at Salisbury National Veterans Cemetery.
A celebration of life service to be followed in honor of Anthony.
