Barbara Best Berman's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Best Berman, 70, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022.
Barbara was a native of New Jersey, raised on Long Island, New York where she was a graduate of Plainview-Old Bethpage High School. She attended SUNY at Farmingdale and SUNY at Stony Brook, and graduated from Queens College of The City University of New York with a 4.0 average. She was a business manager for many years. In 1989 she moved to North Carolina where she concentrated on both raising a family and operating her own online business.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard H. Best of Florida.
She is survived by her mother, Gloria (Finkelstein) Best who resides in Florida. She is also survived by her husband of 40 years, Frederick Berman, her daughter Stephanie Berman, and her sisters Diane Del Duca of Colorado, Robin (Richard) Best-Murad of Florida, and Joanne (Joseph) Cannizzaro of Texas, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
As requested by the deceased, a funeral will not occur, cremation will follow her passing.
