Barbara Brooks' Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Brooks, 58, of Charlotte passed away May 21, 2024. Barbara was a loving mother, adoring wife and loyal friend.
Barbara touched and influenced the lives of many through her social media platforms, often sharing her faith in Jesus. She truly found “joy in the journey.” There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family and caring for them. Always putting others first, her thoughtful nature was one of many things made her so special.
She is survived by her husband, Dave Barraco; and her children, Meaghan Weatherman (Kyle) and Landon Brooks of Charlotte, NC.
The family requests all guests to wear color or floral/pattern as Barbara was all about bold fashion!
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Sunday, May 26, at James Funeral Home of Huntersville. Burial at Northlake Memorial Gardens to follow. A celebration of Life to follow burial where the family will receive friends and family from 1:00-4:00, at 14301 Wynfield Creek Pkwy, Huntersville, NC 28078. There will be food and drinks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
