Barbara Frazier Kerr's Obituary
Barbara Frazier Kerr, 80, of Huntersville, NC gained her angel wings on May 20th, 2019, just six short weeks after losing her beloved husband, Larry.
She was born on September 5th, 1938, to James and Mildred Malcolm Frazier. Barbara was a savvy business woman who, along with Larry, ran Piedmont Grading for over 50 years.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and she always made sure the grandchildren had what they needed. She had a very giving heart and will be dearly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry. Survivors include two sons, Larry Wayne Kerr, Jr., Robert “Lore” Kerr and wife, Tina, both of Huntersville; daughter, Teresa Ann Kerr of Knightdale, NC and five grandchildren, Robbie, Natalie, Adam, Reed and Trevin. Sisters; Nancy Baucom of Oak Island, NC and Becky Thompson (Charles) of Salem, SC.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at James Funeral Home in Huntersville. Her Graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 11:00 am, at Hopewell Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Allan L. Purtill, Jr. officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Junior SRA, 1285 Hall Rd, Mt. Ulla, NC 28125 (Rodeo Association for young kids).
