Barbara Leagon's Obituary
Barbara Price Leagon, 89, of Huntersville died March 7, 2024. She was born on April 29, 1934 in Forest City to the late Harry and Iva Price.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Leagon, beloved son-in-law, Jeff Reid, much beloved first great-grandchild, Hudson Welch and pampered yorkies Fancy and Andy.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Hoke (Dan) of Stanley, Vickie Reid of Huntersville and Susan Kirk of Huntersville; beloved grandchildren, Bethany Reid Welch (Jamie), Robert Leagon Hoke (Allison), Julie Hoke Phillips (Michael) and Nick Reid; and her much beloved great-grandchildren, Sarah Hoke, Hayden Welch, Hunter Welch, Lily Phillips, Meghan Hoke and Tucker Phillips and her spoiled grand-dog, Jasmine.
Bobbie loved her flowers, her garden, Oak Island, all of her cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as all of her friends and church family at Assurance U.M.C.
Memorials may be made to Assurance United Methodist Church.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, March 11 at Assurance U.M.C. Visitation will be 12-1:30 prior. Burial will be private at Forest Lawn West.
